PER CURIAM: *
This consolidated case centers on the arrest of two ships and their subsequent sale to satisfy outstanding debts. The United States successfully intervened in the in rem proceedings on the basis of preferred mortgage liens on the two vessels. Asmarbunkers Consultadoria E Par-icipacoes Unipessoal LDA and Bunkers International Corporation (“Appellants”) challenged the United States’ superior claim to the proceeds of the vessels’ sale based on a fuel lien they possessed.
