On December 1, 1915, the appellant, Willis, executed a promissory note for the sum of $7,500, with 8 per cent, interest from date, payable to the order of the Texas Land Mortgage Company on December 1, 1925. The interest was payable annually on the 1st day of December. The note contained the further stipulation that, upon default of payment of any installment of interest, the entire debt should become due and might be collected.
