The appellant was convicted of murder in the second degree in the circuit court of Jasper County and his punishment was assessed at 20 years’ imprisonment in the state penitentiary.

Appellant contends that the evidence is insufficient to sustain the verdict. We will therefore set forth the facts most favorable to the State to determine this question. The appellant was the owner of a three-apartment building facing on Pearl Street in Joplin, Missouri.
