Benham, Justice.

Appellant Johnny Bales is serving a sentence of life imprisonment as a result of his conviction of the malice murder of Paul Mar-low outside an Athens-Clarke County bar in September 1999. He appeals the judgment of conviction on the ground that trial counsel did not afford him his constitutional right to effective assistance of counsel. After reviewing the record and trial transcript, we affirm the judgment of conviction.
