This application for habeas corpus is filed by Oscar Graber, who alleges that he is unlawfully restrained of his liberty by the United States marshal for the Northern district of Alabama. Petitioner avers that he was “formerly a citizen of Croatia, a subject state of the kingdom of Hungary, a part of the Imperial Austro-Hungarian Government”; that about 15 years ago petitioner came to the United States, and upon reaching the age of 21 years declared his intention of becoming a citizen of the United States, and later filed a petition for naturalization.
