Plaintiff, Luigi Mazzella, a longshoreman employed by Pittston Stevedoring Corporation, commenced this action against defendant Panoceanica A/S Panama on March 6, 1961. Plaintiff seeks to recover $25,000 damages for personal injuries he allegedly sustained in the course of stevedoring operations aboard Panoceanica’s ship the S.S. Minotaur on February 29, 1960 as the result of Panoceanica’s negligence and the unseaworthiness of its ship.
