Folsom and a number of others filed an action against the City of McRae and named officials, seeking an injunction against enforcement of certain street-improvement assessments. As to some of the petitioners it was alleged that executions had been issued, levies made, and that the lands were being advertised for sale; as to others it was stated that while the assessments had been made, no executions had as yet been issued, but that the city was threatening to issue them and would so do unless prevented by order of the court.
