Appeal from the Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore (Soper, O. L), where there was a judgment for the plaintiff for $20,000.00. The facts are stated in the opinion of the Court.

The suit in this case was instituted by the appellee against The United Railways and Electric Company, The Baltimore Transit Company and'Thei American Oil Company, to recover for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff while a passenger of The Baltimore Transit Company.

We will hereafter refer to the defendants as the Railways Company, the Bus Company and the Oil Company.

The trial of the case resulted in a verdict against the Railways and the Bus Company, and a verdict for the Oil Company. A judgment was entered against the Railways Company and the Bus, Company, and it is from that,…
