In this zoning case, begun February 21, 1962, plaintiffs seek a determination that certain city zoning ordinances are unconstitutional as to their lots. Plaintiffs’ lots (four owned by the Brandaus and two by the McBreartys) are situated south of Jefferson Avenue. Jefferson Avenue extends easterly from Detroit through Grosse Pointe Park and Grosse Pointe Farms. The lots front on residential streets which feed into Jefferson Avenue. The lots are located within a five-block area, are a part of Windmill Pointe Subdivision and, when acquired, were subject to building and use restrictions recorded…
