THOMAS, Justice.
The essential conflict to be resolved in this case occurs between the common law individual right to be free from defamation and the right of free speech preserved-by both the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States and Art. 1, § 20 of the Constitution of the State of Wyoming. Specifically, the Court is called to decide whether to adopt a rule requiring private censorship or deny damages to an individual for defamation.
