BUFFINGTON, Circuit Judge.

On July 5, 1917, the Federal Trade-Commission issued a complaint against the Curtis Publishing Company, alleging that it had used unfair methods of competition in interstate commerce in violation of section 5 of the Act of Congress of September 26, 1914 (Comp. St § 8836e), and had also violated the-provisions of section 3 of the Act of Congress of October 15, 1914,. commonly known as the Clayton Act (Comp. St. § 8835c).
