Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Broome County, entered April 7, 1980, which "granted custody of two infant children to petitioner. The parties were married on April 5,1970 and two children were born of the union, Michael, born September 22,1970, and Jennifer, born July 13,1972. In the fall of 1979, the mother informed the father that she was going to seek a divorce. Thereafter, specifically, on November 15,1979, the father, by order to show cause, initiated a proceeding seeking custody of the children.
