Mary Gertrude Abbey, the settlor of the trust with which we are concerned upon this appeal, was the widow of Edwin Austin Abbey, an American artist of distinction in the field of mural painting. After the death of her husband in England in 1911, Mrs. Abbey continued to five there until her death on June 20, 1931. She never relinquished her American domicile.
