delivered the opinion of the court:

Following a jury trial, defendant Eric Holloway was convicted of burglary and sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment. On appeal, defendant contends that the trial court erred by deferring its ruling on his motion in limine to bar the State’s use of his prior convictions for impeachment purposes until after he testified. We affirm.
