In a matrimonial action in which the parties were divorced by judgment entered May 17, 1977, the defendant wife appeals, as limited by her notice of appeal and brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Collins, J.), entered June 23, 1986, as granted the *811plaintiff husband’s cross motion for the appointment of a receiver to sell the former marital residence to the extent of ordering the appraisal and sale of the marital residence.
