This is an action in equity wherein the plaintiff-appellants, George S. McCormick and Julieanne McCormick, seek to quiet title to certain real estate occupied by the defendant-appellees, Donald E. Terry, his wife, Nadine, and Bill L. Eppert. The defendants answered by denying plaintiffs’ right to said real estate and by pleading adverse possession as an affirmative defense. The defendants also cross-petitioned for damages allegedly incurred as a result of plaintiffs’ clouding their title to the subject real estate.
