LANCE, Judge:
The appellant, Frank E. Buezynski, through counsel, appeals an August 14, 2008, Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) decision denying his claims for an evaluation in excess of 30% for a service-connected skin condition from January 1994 to August 2002, and for an evaluation in excess of 60% for a service-connected skin condition from August 2002. Record (R.) at 3-13. In his brief, the appellant expressly stated that he abandoned his appeal regarding a higher rating for the period after August 2002, therefore, that part of the Board’s decision is not on appeal.
