HARALSON, J. —

1. The plaintiff introduced two letters signed “Gf. J. Santa Cruz,” one dated June 6th, 1902, and the other, October lltli, 1902. The defendant objected to their introduction, on the ground among others, that the signature to the letters was not shown to be the signature of Gr. J. Sana Cruz. It was not shown that either of the letters was in response to any letter from the plaintiff. The objection should have been sustained.
