The People v. Rockwood

Plaintiff in error complains of a judgment of the criminal court of Cook county against him finding him guilty of an assault with intent to rob and sentencing him to the penitentiary for a period of from one to fourteen years. The ground of his complaint is that the evidence does not show that he committed an assault. The indictment charged that he made a felonious assault on one Hyman Warshan with intent to rob him.
