At the heart of this consolidated appeal1 lies appellant’s principal claim 2 that his discharge as a tenured English Professor at the University of Alabama violated the due process guarantees of the Fourteenth Amendment. Because we hold that appellant’s termination comported with both procedural and substantive due process, we affirm the various judgments and orders of the district court appealed from.
