MEMORANDUM OPINION

STEPHEN A. STRIPP, Bankruptcy Judge.

This is the court’s decision on two related motions. First, Peggy E. Stafford, the trustee (hereinafter “plaintiff’ or “trustee”) in bankruptcy of Lands End Leasing, Inc., filed a motion through special counsel for sanctions against the defendants in this adversary proceeding pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 37(b) (hereinafter “Fed.R.Civ.P. 37(b)”) and Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 7037 (hereinafter “Fed.R.Bankr.P. 7037”).
