LEZELL, Judge.

Defendant, Dellandra Brett Todd, was charged by bill of information with one *1041count of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, Schedule II, cocaine, in violation of La.R.S. 40:967(A)(1). On March 12, 2003, Defendant was found to be guilty as charged by a jury. On April 2, 2003, Defendant filed a motion for a new trial. Defendant’s motion was heard on April 15, 2003, at which time the motion was denied.
