Joseph Raymond Gullett, a minor, by his mother and next friend, Mrs. C. M. Gullett, instituted this suit against the First Christian Church of Meridian, Mississippi, for. damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by him as a result of the negligent operation of a truck belonging to said church, and engaged in hauling material for a new church building being constructed by the said church.
