| gDefendant, Oscar Madrid, was convicted of second degree murder and cruelty to a juvenile. Defendant argues that: the evidence supported a conviction for manslaughter rather than second degree murder; the trial court erred by not suppressing his statement; and the trial court erred by not declaring a mistrial when unproven allegations of other crimes were presented to the jury.
