The plaintiffs seek to recover possession of premises owned by them in the Town of Hounsfield, Jefferson County, New York, upon and over which the defendant has erected poles and constructed an electric power line. The defendant acknowledges plaintiffs’ title but asserts its right to occupy the land in question under an unrecorded option or easement from a predecessor in title to the plaintiffs.
