On 2 April 1982, plaintiff, by and through its Child Support Enforcement Agency, brought suit against defendant seeking to have him adjudicated the father of minor Kevin Jackson, to collect a debt owed to the State for past public assistance, 1 Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC), paid for the minor’s benefit, and to obtain an order requiring defendant to make future payments of support for the child.
