The International Longshoremen’s Association, AFL-CIO (“ILA”) has petitioned this Court to confirm and enforce arbitration awards rendered by a joint labor-management committee against Hanjin Container Lines (“HCL”) and Hanjin Shipping Co., Ltd. (“Hanjin”). That committee, known as the New York Shipping Association-ILA Container Committee (“the Committee”), issued awards against HCL and Hanjin totalling $21,000 during the period from February 23, 1988 through January 10, 1989.
