This is an appeal from a judgment of the county court of Cook county confirming a special assessment against property of appellants to defray the cost of constructing a pumping station and system of sewers in the city of Chicago. The points relied upon for a reversal of the judgment are, first, that the ordinance for the improvement does not describe the branches from the main trunk sewer in Ninety-fifth street, referred to in paragraph 7 of sub-section A of the ordinance, as required by the Local Improvement act; and second, that the ordinance, which involved an expenditure of more than…
