JACKSON, Judge.

On 10 September 2003, a jury convicted Teddy Terrell Bethea (“defendant”) of one count of attempted first-degree murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury against Efrem Colson (“Colson”). The jury also convicted defendant of one count of attempted first-degree murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury against Michelle Carden (“Carden”).
