Defendant appeals from his conviction for first-degree murder. Defendant asserts that: 1) all, rather than a portion, of a statement was obtained in violation of his sixth amendment rights and should have been suppressed in its entirety; 2) probable cause was not shown sufficient to justify the issuance of a warrant for the search of defendant’s residence; 3) property seized during the search should have been suppressed; 4) testimony was improperly allowed concerning matters contained in the suppressed portion of the statement; 5) trial court improperly restricted…
