This is an action commenced in the District Court of the United States for the District of Columbia by the appellant Moran, as receiver of the Prudential Bank, against the appellee, Cobb, as a stockholder, to recover a sum alleged to be owing and unpaid upon a statutory stockholder’s liability. The appeal questions the correctness of a judgment entered in favor of the appellee upon the ground that the statute of limitations had run against the action.
