This was a proceeding commenced in the Probate Court of St. Francois county for distribution of the estate of William Spradling among his distributees. It was alleged that certain of the distributees, being grandchildren of the deceased, had through their ancestors received advancements, and it was asked that these advancements should be accounted for as so much to be deducted from the shares of the parties who received them.
