People ex rel. Evans v. Cowen

The People, on the relation of W. J. Evans, R. O. Young and Albert Wade, filed their petition in the circuit court of Bond county asking leave to file an information in the nature of quo warranto against the persons named, who are assuming to be the board of education of pretended Community High School District No. 53, in said county. The petition set out reasons why relators claim the district was not legally organized. Leave was granted and an information was filed praying judgment of ouster against the persons who are assuming to exercise the office of members of the board of education.…
