liThe defendant, Jeffrey Granier, was charged by bill of information on June 11, 2014, with one count of third offense operating a vehicle while intoxicated (DWI), a violation of La. R.S. 14:98(D). He pled not guilty, and subsequently filed a motion to quash, arguing that predicate offense No. 1 had been obtained in violation of his constitutional rights.
