Presently before the court is a motion for summary judgment brought by defendants, Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority, the School District of the City of Erie, and Edward Sandusky.

The essential facts are undisputed. The cause of action arises out of an accident which occurred on October 19, 1983, when Lisa Gray was struck by an automobile operated by Jerome Banko after being discharged from a bus owned by Erie Metropolitan *251Transit Authority and driven by Edward Sandusky, its employee.
