Benham, Justice.
Randy Grier Murray was convicted of malice murder and other offenses arising out of the shooting death of Jerome “Tay” Barnett during a drug transaction, he was sentenced to life without parole pursuant to OCGA § 17-10-7 (b), and he appeals. For the reasons set forth below, we affirm.
