OPINION

WILKINS, Chief Judge.

Emilio Chase appeals his sentence for distributing cocaine base within 1,000 feet of a school, see 21 U.S.C.A. §§ 841(a)(1), 860 (West 1999). We affirm.

In November 2003, a confidential informant made several purchases of cocaine base from Chase in Martinsburg, West Virginia. During a subsequent search of a residence, West Virginia troopers found Chase hiding under the basement steps near a small amount of marijuana.
