Cumberland Valley Joint School Authority v. Haldeman, Inc.

On October 19, 1970, Cumberland Valley Joint School Authority (Cumberland Valley) entered into a written contract with M. L. Haldeman & Son, Inc. (Haldeman) for the construction of Cumberland Valley Senior High School, including a gymnasium. The contract specified that the gymnasium roof was to be domed and that it was to be coated with “Siliconed Asbestolite.” Thereafter, Haldeman contracted with Leroy Roofing Company (Leroy) to install the gymnasium roof.
