Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Westchester County (West, J.), rendered September 4, *7292002, convicting him of assault in the first degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and reckless driving, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is reversed, on the law, and a new trial is ordered.
