This is an action for damages for personal injuries suffered by plaintiff while in the employ of defendant. The jury returned a verdict for $25,000 in favor of plaintiff, and defendant appealed from the judgment entered on the verdict.
The evidence adduced on the part of plaintiff warrants the finding that on December 7, 1925, defendant was engaged in erecting and constructing, on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis County, a building to be used for athletic exercises known as a Field House.
