Reuben King died early in 1869, leaving a will, which was admitted to probate in the county of Robeson, wherein he resided, and William J. Brown, the sole executor therein named, qualified as such. He proceeded with his administration until, for cause shown, and without having completed it, he was, on 21 November, 1878, removed from office and the letters testamentary issued to him recalled.
