Plaintiffs, National Brick Company, La Salle National Bank and Trust Company, Lawrence D. Levinson, Esther E. Levinson, Milton Levinson and Sydell Levinson, brought an action for declaratory judgment against defendant, City of Chicago. Plaintiffs sought to have certain zoning regulations of the defendant declared void in application to property owned by them, and to have declared their legal right to erect multiple-dwelling apartment buildings on the subject property.
