J. W. Forester filed suit in the Harlan Circuit Court against Taylor & Crate and Jones Lumber Company— hereafter called Taylor & Crate — and. .some tenants of theirs, alleging that he was the owner of a tract of land containing about 100 acres on Laurel branch, and that Taylor & Crate had entered on the land and were cutting timber therefrom.
