This is a suit wherein plaintiff seeks to recover damages for the death of her husband, alleged to have resulted from a collision between the car deceased was driving and a pick-up truck driven by defendant, Claude Newingham and owned by defendant, Herman Anders. Defendants’ answer was a general denial and a plea of contributory negligence. The cause was tried to a jury on November 16, 1939, resulting in a verdict and judgment in favor of plaintiff in the sum of $5000.
