HEhTDEESON, Judge.

Appellant was convicted of murder in the second degree, and his punishment assessed at confinement in the penitentiary for a term of twenty-five years; hence this appeal.

The evidence shows that deceased was the father of appellant, the family consisting of deceased, his wife, two grown daughters, a minor son, and appellant. Their home was situated in the suburbs of Belton. Appellant was an unmarried man, about 30 years of age, and had lived with his father all of his life.
