This is an action in assumpsit brought by appellants against appellees in the circuit court of Winnebago county for commissions as real estate brokers. A trial before the court without a jury resulted in a judgment for appellees against appellants, from which judgment this appeal is prosecuted.

The undisputed evidence shows that appellants were real estate brokers in Rockford and that appellees, who were the owners of a business property in that city, were desirous of selling the same and listed it with appellants; that appellants found a prospective purchaser in the person of Edward E.…
