On April 1, 1962, there occurred an accident at kilometer 56.5 of highway No. 1, about 35 meters away from the intersection formed by Avenida Barbosa of Cayey and the road in question, as a result of which the occupants of a Plymouth vehicle operated by Juan Rivera Cintron suffered severe *479injuries, one of whom, named Wilfredo Santos Carrasquillo, died.
