On November 16,1972, a trial jury found the defendant guilty of the first, third and fifth counts of Indictment No. 34766/72 (bribe receiving, Penal Law, § 200.10; official misconduct, Penal Law, § 195.00; and promoting prison contraband in the second degree, Penal Law, § 205.20).
