An automobile in which the plaintiffs were riding on Main street in the defendant city of Mechanicville left the roadway and collided with a nearby pole. There was evidence adequate to sanction a conclusion that the collision was caused by the skidding of or.e of the rear wheels of the vehicle over ice that had formed on the rails of a trolley track of the Hudson Valley Railway Company laid in the center of the street.
