George Elvis Yoes was charged in the court of common pleas of Oklahoma county with the offense of illegal possession of intoxicating liquor, convicted and sentenced to pay a fine of $50 and serve 30 days in the county jail, and has appealed.

The information charges the defendant with the possession of 14 pints of whisky on Ocotober 21, 1947.

Defendant filed a motion to suppress the evidence, which was by the court overruled. On his trial before a jury, he was convicted. Motion for new trial was filed and overruled on December 20, 1947. Thereupon the court sentenced the defendant to pay a fine…
